Here's a new update of System Power Shortcuts. I rewrote the entire application and I decided to make the UI a little simplified but I improved the navigation and I think It's great! I removed the scheduling feature and I'm rolling back to version 1.0 but you can still download the older version below.
So What's new in this version
- Drag the window from top to bottom to close the app
- Animations
- Shutdown, Hybrid (most requested feature for Windows 8), Restart, Lock, Logoff, Sleep, and Hibernate buttons
- Simplified buttons. They are now on the center. And also, cleaned up the UI.
- This should support Windows 7

You can download the installer in my SkyDrive. Please remember, this is a WPF application and I just want to add, I am not trying to pull you back to the old versions of Windows operating system. I am extending the options of Shutdown feature in Windows 8.

This is the WPF version and a native window application of the desktop version I wrote before. I added some small animation on the buttons so it will look nice and alive and of course, the buttons can dynamically position. So actually, this works on all resolution.
the over all features of this application are:
- Shutdown
- Sign-off
- Restart
- Hibernate
- Abort a scheduled shutdown
- Lock (new in 2.0)
- Sleep (new in 2.0)
- Quick access of Shutdown, Restart, and Lock button on the right hand side
- Adjust Shutdown interval by sliding the bar or time set
- Can press ESC key to close the window
- Requires .NET 4.0 and works with Windows 7 and Windows 8
